Max Warshawsky wasn't on the best run of his life during qualifying, but held it together to land himself the 79th spot. He came down in a 3:55, 25 seconds behind the fastest time set by Troy Brosnan. He is happy to hit his goal of qualifying but feels he wasn’t riding his best and is looking to better his result tomorrow. Be sure to watch his run live at 2pm tomorrow on Redbull Tv.
The rain held off for Friday qualifying and the track began to dry up and its condition is fairly good. With the rains coming and going throughout the week it was slippery and a bit muddy, but isn’t comparable to the slush of the 2014 race. The general vibe is that the track is running well. The forecast for tomorrows race is looking good with a 10% chance of rain so there is every chance we will be seeing prime race day conditions.
